This November, Chucs will launch its new Restaurant & Café on Belgravia’s Eccleston Street
Chucs is delighted to announce the arrival of its latest venture, Chucs Belgravia, launching this November under the
direction of Chairman Graziano Arricale & Executive Chef Director Simon Henbery. The newest addition to the Chucs
Restaurant & Cafe Collection, which already boasts sites in Mayfair, Notting Hill, Hyde Park and Kensington, will be open
seven days a week, operating a full service menu. Chucs Belgravia marks the Group’s largest undertaking so far; with 55
covers and room for over 100 standing, the site will also feature a wraparound terrace, where guests can sip coffee alfresco
or unwind over cocktails & cicchetti during the sunnier months.
Noteable additions to the Chucs Team include Alex Robertson, who comes aboard as Chucs Belgravia’s General Manager
following leading roles at some of London’s best established hospitality groups, including Hakkasan and Corbin & King.
Alessandro Piludu meanwhile, joins Chucs Belgravia as Head Chef, having spent the previous 14 years making his mark at
Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen in Westland Place. During his time at Fifteen, Alessandro was able to refine his culinary acumen and
learn the ins and outs of the industry under renowned chefs including Gregory Marchand (founder of Frenchie), Jon
Rotheram (of the Marksman), Robbin Holmgren and Chucs’ very own Simon Henbery – gradually working his way up the
ranks to becoming Head Chef.
Open from 8am, Chucs Belgravia’s breakfast menu will feature favourites including indulgent Eggs Benedict and Smashed
Avocado on Sourdough, light and healthy bowls – think House Granola with Pomegranate and Yoghurt – alongside freshly
squeezed juices, smoothies, and the renowned Difference Coffee. For those running to the office, there will be a large grab &
go offering too – your Chucs Chia Bowl topped with Seasonal Fruit can now be enjoyed at your desk. Come lunchtime,
Chucs Classics will take center stage; Bigoli Cacio e Pepe, the Chopped Cobb Salad and Chicken Milanese with Amalfi
Lemon are all available, alongside hearty winter warmers such as Celeriac Velouté, Lamb Ragu Pappardelle and Pumpkin,
Sage & Amaretti Ravioli. For those looking to enjoy their Chucs on the go, many dishes, including a selection of pizza and
pasta, will be available to take away.
Come evening, guests can stop by for a leisurely aperitivo; select from Chucs’ extensive cocktail list – a Negroni or Martini perhaps? All to be
enjoyed alongside an array of luxury Cicchetti including Wild Boar Panelle, Truffle Arrancini and Oysters with Granny Smith & Sorrel. For those
left wanting more, Chucs Belgravia’s Dinner Menu will be available from 5pm. Dishes new to the menu include Beef Tartare topped with
Caviar and Citrus Cured Seabass with Ponzu & Sesame to start, followed by mains such as Truffle & Lovage Risotto, Spaghetti alla Chittara with
Anchovy & Barolo, Dover Sole and Dedham Vale Bone in Ribeye for two. Dessert, as ever, will be an indulgent affair – think Chucs Tiramisu,
Tarte Fine aux Pommes served with Vanilla Ice Cream and a Paxton & Whitfield Cheeseboard, featuring the very best of English, French and
Italian Fromage.
A 120 bin wine list, featuring a wide selection of Italian bottles as well as international favorites, has been curated by Head
Sommelier Stefano Barbarino. A respected judge for the Sommelier Wine Awards by Imbibe, Stefano joins the Group
following leading roles at Galvin at Windows, and most recently the Michelin-starred Chez Bruce Restaurant in Wandsworth
Common.
Following a successful collaboration at Chucs Café Kensington, Fettle Studios have once again been commissioned to deliver the most elegant
of interiors, inspired by the effortless glamour of 1950s Italy. Those already familiar with Chucs will feel right at home amongst the vintage
photographs of the Amalfi Coast and Côte d’Azur adorning the walls. Warm oak panelling conjures the essence of yacht life, while
simultaneously creating an intimate atmosphere during evening service. Chucs Belgravia is surely set to be one of South West London’s most
sought after destinations.
In addition to its flagship and much to the delight of loyal customers, Chucs will be expanding a further two sites by the end of the year, with additions
to its café concept.
Chucs Belgravia will open to the public on Monday 18 th November.
