MYDIS, the sanitation and disinfection experts, is working with Champneys to ensure its luxury hotel resort in Cheshire is ‘COVID-safe’ before hosting the celebrity squad taking part yesterday’s Soccer Aid for Unicef.
Soccer Aid for Unicef took place this Sunday, 6th September, at Old Trafford stadium. The charity football match saw celebrities and former footballers take to the pitch in an 11-a-side game between England and the Soccer Aid World XI FC.
The coronavirus pandemic posed a threat to the annual charity match, but with the help of MYDIS, Champneys can host the celebrities and football legends at Mottram Hall, its luxury hotel in Cheshire, before they bring their A-game on the pitch.
MYDIS’ SE20 fogging disinfection units have been used in all Champneys sites across the UK, which provides total surface sanitisation in difficult-to-reach places. This technology allows for the disinfection of rooms and does not require any PPE or a wait period before re-entry into the room, ensuring disruption is minimised.

MYDIS’ contactless disinfectant hand dispensers have been stationed around the resort and the staff regularly disinfect the rooms with the fogging disinfection unit.
