One Digital Signage partners with the Government’s COVID-19 recovery fund to help Midlands SMEs adapt and recover during the pandemic

One Digital Signage is working with local businesses needing help to adapt and recover following the COVID pandemic.

The Midlands based company has partnered with the Government’s COVID-19 recovery fund scheme to provide a range of digital hand sanitiser units which will enable local businesses to bring customers and employees safely back through their doors.

The scheme, supported by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014 to 2020, is offering grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 for local businesses that need it during the pandemic. The money is a 100% government grant and there is no obligation to contribute financially. Midlands businesses can use the funding to pay for equipment to address immediate needs in response to COVID-19.

Applications for the scheme are now open and One Digital Signage is urging local businesses in the following sectors; visitor economy; construction; manufacturing; business services; creative or cultural; life sciences and health; to get in touch. The One Digital team will help companies check their eligibility for the grant, prepare the paperwork and submit the application for funding to ensure they don’t miss out on the vital digital hand sanitiser units available.

The units include an iDISPLAY thermometer designed to instil a sense of trust and safety in people across all industries as they re-commence everyday activities, a digital screen for health messaging or wayfinding and SteriZar foamer solution which is alcohol-free, kills up to 99.999% of Bacteria in 30 seconds and is Halal friendly. The all in one solutions also come with a free downloadable NHS Test and Trace QR app combined with an optional venue visitor login local Track and Trace app via the built-in touch screen for those visitors who don’t have the NHS Covid-19 NHS app installed or a mobile device to login on. Finally, they have an option to monitor the amount of hand washes and receive bottle refill notifications via email. The gyms One Digital Signage works with are monitoring between 4,000 and 5,000 hand washes per month from a single station.

One Digital Signage’s CEO, Richard Westhead, says: “As we continue to find innovative ways to do our part in flattening the curve, we urge those eligible to take advantage of this fantastic scheme and put the funding to best possible use to protect the public.

“These digital hand sanitiser kiosks have meant our current clients have been able to re-open and keep people safe and this is a great opportunity for local businesses to now benefit through the grant. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to get back to work safely.”
