Festivities commence with the unveiling of the hotel’s Christmas tree; guaranteed to be the most dazzling yet, adorned with diamonds and lavish ornaments. The diamond theme continues with the season’s most hotly-anticipated event – the ‘Diamonds and Champagne Night’ – an indulgent cocktail dinner with a twist. As guests sip on Perrier Jouet they will each have the chance to select a key and attempt to unlock a box containing a valuable treasure, whoever’s key fits the lock will take home a diamond valued at €2,000.
Guests are guaranteed to love the life-size gingerbread house, filling the hotel from top to bottom with heady aromas, and gourmands can enjoy one of the many foodie events taking place in El Paseo Del Mar, the hotel’s culinary hub. Discover the secrets of festive favourites from the resort’s seasoned pâtissiers in private cookery classes, indulge in a festive high tea under the Christmas Tree or wander the traditional Christmas market, brimming with locally-made gifts, crafts, wine, gourmet delights and of course, Santa.
As 2020 approaches, it’s showtime at Kempinski Hotel Bahia as the resort is transformed into a circus-like fun fair; indulge in a four-course meal accompanied by live performances, music and entertainment just before the New Year is toasted in with the tradition of eating 12 lucky grapes and a spectacular firework display, viewed from the grand terrace. Smaller guests are invited to join the Kids’ Party for dancing, fun and games while over in the Grand Lobby, the bar remains open until the early hours – it’s the most magical place to bring in the New Year.
