Best Western hotel achieves a 20% uplift in room sales with Guestline’s PMS

Best Western Hotels, the Swan and Shrubbery, are enjoying uplifts in bookings and rates as a result of implementing Guestline’s cloud hosted property management system, Rezlynx. The Somerset hotels have joined the growing number of Best Western GB members who have implemented Guestline’s Two–Way Best Western Interface, which is being cited as the ‘most popular choice’ amongst members.

The Best Western Plus Swan Hotel and The Best Western Shrubbery Hotel chose Guestline’s proven solutions to enable them to manage and grow their properties, centralise operations across both properties and to comply with Best Western’s mandate.

In just 3 weeks since the install, the Shrubbery Hotel has achieved a 20% uplift in room sales and over 8% increase at the Swan Hotel thanks to increased exposure across multiple channels and closer rate management. Last room availability across all channels has also helped boost direct bookings at both properties.

Over 40 staff from both sites were put through a rigorous programme to learn the full functionality of the systems from front of house through to EPoS. The system is versatile and will be able to grow and expand in line with the group’s expansion plans.’

The Best Western Plus Swan Hotel is a 48 bedroomed property with suites and self-catering apartments located in Wells, sitting directly opposite the west front of Wells Cathedral. The Best Western Shrubbery Hotel consists of 21 individually furnished, en-suite bedrooms, situated in Ilminster, Somerset.
