Peak District boutique debuts new fine dining experience

A hotel in Staffordshire on the edge of the Peak District has announced the launch of its new fine dining experience.

The Three Horseshoes Country Inn & Spa has brought on a new executive chef to help mastermind the new offering named The Stables. Newly appointed executive chef, Gary Woolliscroft, along with the current head chef, Matt Brock, have joined together to devise a new menu, which has been designed to use new modern techniques and local ingredients.

The restaurant boasts a 2 AA Rosette Award and now Woolliscroft hopes to take this even further, drawing on his experience as senior sous chef alongside ‘Great British Menu Chef’ Chris Holland at the Alderly Edge Hotel. The Stables restaurant offers different dining times; lunch is served from 12pm – 2pm, while afternoon tea is from 3pm – 5.30pm and dinner from 7pm – 9.30pm.

Steve Kirk, director of Three Horseshoes Country Inn & Spa, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the highly trained and well experienced chef, Gary Woolliscroft to our family run Inn. Thanks to his dedication to our culinary aims and along with Matt Brock we have created some truly sumptuous dishes.”
