Bailbrook House Hotel awarded two AA Rosettes

Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath, part of Hand Picked Hotels, is celebrating after being awarded two AA Rosettes, following the refurbishment and launch of the hotel in late 2013.

The hotel’s Cloisters Restaurant scooped the accolade this month following an AA inspection. The 94-bed property comprises of the Grade-II listed Georgian mansion house offering 13 bedrooms and Balibrook Court housing an additional 81 rooms.

Cloisters, the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, is set within the original basement of the mansion house and features a ceiling restored with Bath stone. It now joins the other 17 country house hotels in the Hand Picked portfolio that have gained two AA Rosette status.

The Hand Picked Hotels collection is also home to a three AA Rosette restaurant in Scotland and a Michelin star restaurant in Jersey. Jonathan Squire, general manager, Bailbrook House Hotel, said: “We are absolutely delighted Cloisters has been awarded two AA Rosette status. This is the most prestigious accolade the hotel has been awarded to date and is a huge achievement after the relaunch and rebranding of the hotel in 2013.”
