Yorkshire Wagyu extends Balloon Tree offering with new Butchery Counter

A collaboration between a Wolds beef farmer and a popular North Yorkshire farm shop has developed to incorporate a new Butchery Counter.

The Balloon Tree Farm Shop at Gate Helmsley was the first retail outlet to stock The Yorkshire Wagyu Company’s premium beef when the Tibthorpe business launched last June and has reported consistently strong sales ever since.

The new butchery counter will open on Good Friday and will be managed by The Yorkshire Wagyu Company’s in house butcher, Aaron Marshall from Pocklington. It will operate between 10am and 3pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with Yorkshire Wagyu being available pre-packed when the butchery counter is closed.

Balloon Tree owner, Matthew Machin is delighted with the new venture: “Our customers love Yorkshire Wagyu and I’m confident that having a butcher on site to butcher Wagyu to their requirements and give cooking advice will be very well received.”

Tibthorpe based Yorkshire Wagyu will be promoting the launch of the butchery counter by offering free samples of Wagyu that will be cooked by The Yorkshire Wagyu Company’s chef, Nick Dawson in its bespoke catering trailer.

The Yorkshire Wagyu Company’s catering trailer is available to hire, fully staffed, for parties and events. Please call Nick Dawson on 07951 018302 for more information.
