‘Best Hotel Design in the world’: Windermere’s Boutique Church Suites honoured at London awards

The Cranleigh Boutique’s Boutique Church Suites have been honoured alongside the world’s best hotels at a glittering awards ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London.  The SBID International Design Awards is one of the industry’s most prestigious events and serves to recognise, reward and celebrate design excellence.  Nominated in the category of ‘hotel design’, the Boutique Church Suites, was selected alongside 14 other hotels from as far away as Iran, Indonesia and Chicago, as the crème de la crème of the industry.  The awards were judged by international industry leaders, amongst them, Lewis Carnie, Head of Programmes at the BBC; Sir Michael Dixon, Director of the Natural History Museum; Ben McOwen Wilson, Director of YouTube and Jane Preston from Google, with this year’s awards representing industry talent from 41 countries.

Nominated for almost a dozen national and international awards this year alone, with the luxury suites named the ‘best hotel suites in the UK and second in the world’ in the ‘International Hotel & Property Awards 2015’ in July, owner and CEO, Stephen Hargreaves is applauding another exceptional year for his brand:

Hargreaves is currently working on the launch of an upmarket champagne bar in Bowness-on-Windermere, which will open in March.
