THE BODRUM EDITION ANNOUNCES: ZEN AT THE EDITION

A rejuvenating wellness programme allowing travelers to truly relax after the last 18 months

October 2021, The Bodrum EDITION launched by Ian Schrager will host a spiritual week-long retreat, Zen at the EDITION, with some of the most sought-after wellbeing focused gurus from around the world coming together to create the ultimate wellness haven.

Focusing on alleviating some of the adverse effects that lockdown and the distance placed between loved ones has caused for many, hotel residents and day guests will be rejuvenated through the contemporary stimulation of the body and soul. Guests can participate in a host of treatments and classes, including cosmic gentle yoga, south healing, theta music medicine and more.

Running from the 7th – 10th October, Zen at the EDITION aims to optimise personal practice and promote positive lifestyle changes, going beyond the physical performance of poses to emphasize the importance of breathing, meditation and healthy eating.

With flight times just a little over three hours from London and October temperatures set to average in the late-20’s, this Aegean utopia is the ideal escape for a wellness getaway.

Zen at the EDITION highlights include:

Cosmic Gentle Yoga

Balance your soul and become one with the universe. Explore your mind with cosmic gentle yoga workshop, instructed by Mahir Ayodgar.

Theta Music Medicine

Enjoy a deep healing session with theta waves – let your imagination take you away. Instructed by Dimitrios Dermentzioglou, theta music medicine will help you cleanse yourself with the magical music frequencies.

Sound Healing

An ancient practice, used to guide people into a state of deep relaxation and peace. Various musical instruments, including gongs, crystal bowls, conches and Tibetan bowls are played to put the mind into alpha and then theta brainwave rhythm, enabling the mind to expand consciousness and go into a dream like state.

This deeply meditative place enables healing on not only an emotional level, but also cellular, with the sound vibrations and the frequencies bathing every cell of the body to give a ‘sonic massage’.

Participants of all these treatments end the sessions feeling refreshed and relaxed, sometimes having had a deeply transformative experience.

Room rates at The Bodrum EDITION start from EUR 500 per night including breakfast. Non-hotel guests can also enjoy access to Beach Club (T&Cs apply).
