THE PORTFOLIO CLUB ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF CAMILLA MARTIN AS SENIOR PR MANAGER

18 May 2021 – The Portfolio Club today announces the appointment of Camilla Martin as Senior PR Manager for its new hospitality brand, The Other House. Launching in Spring 2022 as a cutting-edge type of new accommodation for the urban traveller, The Other House disrupts the traditional sectors of hotels, serviced apartments and private rentals, effortlessly and elegantly combining home comforts with hotel style facilities, whatever the length of stay.

Camilla comments, “It is my goal to build  awareness of The Other House globally and to increase the value of the brand through a strategic PR journey. Completely unlike any other accommodation, The Other House is set to transform the hospitality scene so people can live like a resident for as long as they are in town. I feel privileged to be working with the team to bring to market such an important and differentiated voice to London’s cosmopolitan arena.”

As Senior PR Manager, Camilla is responsible for overseeing the media activity for this innovative brand launch which will initially be opening two Residents’ Clubs in South Kensington and Covent Garden, from spring 2022.

With over 10 years’ experience with leading hospitality brands, Camilla’s depth of knowledge and expertise enables her to devise compelling PR strategies which bring brand stories to life.

Camilla has held a variety of senior PR and Communications positions, most recently as Brand Communications Manager at Corinthia Hotels, a global collection of luxury hotels, where she led the development and implementation of the international PR strategy, focusing both on the hotel company’s nine-strong hotel portfolio and new launches.

Prior to this Camilla was Senior Account Manager at Travel PR, a travel and lifestyle PR agency where she managed a team to deliver successful PR campaigns for hotels around the world.

With a keen interest in visual communications as well as the written word, she was formerly a photographer delivering commissions for leading brands including American Airlines, the Gucci Group and Topshop. From 2011-2013 she worked on, and was profiled in, The Mail on Sunday’s Breaking the Mould initiative, promoting women in leadership. Her work has featured in several exhibitions as well as numerous print and online publications worldwide.
