Mothering Sunday 2018 at Royal Lancaster London

Mother’s Day (Sunday 11 March 2018) is the perfect time to show your mum the love, and where better to treat her like the queen she is than at the glamorous Royal Lancaster London hotel, located on the boundary of Hyde Park.

In celebration of mothers, step-mums, and grandmothers everywhere, Royal Lancaster London has created an indulgent Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea which is available exclusively on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March 2018.Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea

To celebrate the leading ladies in your life, the Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea will be served in the elegant surroundings of the brand new Hyde Lobby Bar.

An array of delectable sandwiches includes a Cornetto of Home-Smoked Salmon with Caviar; Roast Oxfordshire Beef with Horseradish on Onion Bread; and Grilled Aubergine with Courgette, Red pepper, Hummus and Rocket. A warm tartlet of Coronation Chicken and a Choux bun filled with Barradale Free-Range Eggs, light Mustard Mayonnaise and Wild Cress elevate the savoury selection and are sure to be Mum’s favourites.

Fresh scones (take your pick of plain, sultana or raspberry) are accompanied by Homemade Strawberry Jam and Jersey Clotted Cream, whilst a spread of sweet treats includes a Bitter Chocolate and Macadamia Nut Financier; a Fresh Fruit and Lemon Curd Tart; Mango and Coconut Éclair; and a tangy Seville Orange and Grand Marnier Lollipop.

Each booking over the weekend will be entered into a prize draw to win day spa access at K West Hotel & Spa, including a complimentary treatment – Mum’s choice! Every mum will also be gifted a bag of homemade chocolate truffles to take home with them.

The Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea is available to book between 2pm and 5.30pm, and is priced at £35 or £45 with a glass of Moët & Chandon Brut Champagne. For an extra luxurious treat for mum, the tea is available with a glass of Moët & Chandon Rosé Champagne for £50.
