OCTOBER 2019 – Five-star luxury hotel, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa in Bath is launching its first home décor workshop with colour experts, Farrow & Ball. Bringing a creative insight into the use of colour in the home, this masterclass will introduce Farrow & Ball’s new ‘Colour by Nature’ collection of 16 new shades, created in collaboration with The Natural History Museum.
Starting at midday in the hotel’s beautiful Sir Percy Suite, Farrow & Ball Colour Curator Joa Studholme will share her top tips for bringing homes to life with colour and pattern while answering any decorating dilemmas.
Following the inspiring colour talk, guests will be guided across the acre of secluded gardens to the hotel’s award-winning Dower House Restaurant, where they’ll enjoy a Taittinger Champagne Afternoon Tea, indulging in freshly baked scones and Bath Buns, delicious finger sandwiches cut to mouth-watering perfection and glasses of Taittinger, for a truly sparkling afternoon. Upon departure, guests will each receive a Farrow & Ball goody bag.
Farrow & Ball is dedicated to creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper using only the finest quality ingredients and an eco-friendly water base. Deepening from subtle neutrals to dark inky hues, each paint shade is created with a blend of up to five pigments for an extraordinary depth of colour. Still rooted in Dorset, England, its home since 1946, its curated palette is sure to inspire guests.
