Automated ironing is here. Invented by engineers Rohan Kamdar and Trevor Kerth, effie is a new machine that irons your clothes for you.
effie has the ability to iron up to 12 fabrics in bulk including polyester, cotton, silk, viscose, and denim, at a rate of just three minutes per item. effie can save hoteliers and hospitality businesses hours of time and masses of energy, improving efficiency and more time to focus on your business and services. Inspired by the desire to make life easier using technology, Rohan and Trevor spent two years and created more than 40 prototypes before the current version of effie was born.
“Since we were able to quickly test multiple versions and different features of effie, we are confident that the final form is a device that businesses will be excited to use and will save them so much time and effort,” commented Rohan.
