Scotbreaks is an exciting, new online company that was launched on 19th May 2016. It is the brainchild of an experienced and award-winning team of hoteliers, who dreamed of a website that offered only short breaks in Scotland in some of the finest hotels and B&Bs around the country, providing real value for money and celebrating all that Scotland has to offer.
The concept of the website is that each week, Scotbreaks will bring a selection of deals throughout Scotland and these will be ‘live’ for a full week from Thursday to Thursday. There will be a range of B&Bs to castle hotels, including city centre breaks, rural retreats, luxury hotels, golf breaks and spa hotels, so something for everyone. There will also be six featured deals of the week with additional special offers exclusive to Scotbreaks. All the breaks will be offered at a minimum of 25% discount and some even up to an amazing 65% discount on the featured partners’ usual tariff.
To take advantage of these incredible offers, the process is very straight-forward. Customers will need to select where they want to go, then click on ‘buy now’, which will activate a voucher number that will be sent via the confirmation email; this must be taken with them to the hotel of their choice to ensure they receive their exclusive offer. However, this does not constitute a booking, so customers must contact the hotel directly to make their reservation. Vouchers can also be purchased as gifts for others, so perfect if you’re looking for that elusive gift for the person who has everything! Who doesn’t enjoy a trip away in a luxury hotel?
Scotbreaks will also be making a contribution from every voucher sold to selected partner charities. They are very pleased to announce that the first charity partnership will be with MND Scotland, which does fantastic work to support those sufferers of Motor Neurone Disease and their carers. This is a charity very close to the heart of the co-founder of Scotbreaks because his late father suffered with MND. Iain McWhirter, Head of Fundraising and Volunteering for MND Scotland, said, “MND Scotland is delighted to have been chosen to be supported by Scotbreaks, and we wish every success for the launch of the website. MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity providing support to, and campaigning on behalf of, people affected by MND, as well as funding research into the disease. If you would like to find out more about what we do and the support we can provide please check out our website at www.mndscotland.org.uk.”
