Kent-based accountancy practice Perrys has raised more than £7,000 for the Gravesend charity Family Matters after successfully hosting its ninth annual fundraising golf day.
The event, which had been postponed for 18 months due to the pandemic, saw 24 teams club together to take on the 18-hole course at Dale Hill Hotel and Golf Club in Ticehurst. The day included a three-course meal and a raffle, which boosted funds.
The winning team was announced as Newmans with 98 points – just one point ahead of second and third place – which was made up of Andrew Deadman, Simon Ellis, Roger Nightingale and Tom Foreman.
Family Matters provides free therapy and counselling services to survivors of childhood sexual abuse and rape.
