As part of luxury travel company Black Tomato’s ‘Take Me On A Story’ collection, Treasure Island is a package inspired by the 1882 childrens’ story by Robert Louis Stevenson. Rosewood Little Dix Bay provides the backdrop to this iconic tale, with a bespoke itinerary inviting families and guests to explore the Caribbean islands and follow in the footsteps of the beloved characters from the story. Learning the tricks of survival in true Ben Gunn style, the experiences will include:-
- Pirate School with sword fighting lessons and (non-alcoholic) rum-making
- Sailing lessons to learn how to set sail and drop anchor
- A private day charter of a catamaran to the Dog Islands
- A stargazing bonfire with storytelling of both sailors and pirates navigating the seas
- A cooking class at Rosewood Little Dix Bay, taking place on the resort’s sustainable farm
- A photographer to capture the adventure at a moment of choice
Travel experts will also be on hand to take bespoke requests, so that guests can personalise their experience in any way they like.
