Sea Change Wine Turns the Tide on Plastic Pollution 

Sea Change, the on-trade wine brand that is available to the catering and hospitality sector, celebrates its first full trading year with UK growth, international expansion and a continued commitment to support the fight against plastic in our oceans.

Since launch, the brand has already raised £50,000 to support projects that help turn the tide on plastic pollution.

 

Toby Hancock, co-founder of 10 International says: “Our mission is to give UK wine-drinkers great tasting wines, at affordable prices that contribute financially to marine conservation charities. Sea Change has been supporting marine conservation and the fight against plastic pollution through its partnerships with charities such as Plastic Oceans UK, Sea Changers and the Olive Ridley Project.  Given the success of the brand to date, Sea Change is expecting donations to exceed £100,000 by the end of the year.

Sea Change has no unnecessary capsule covers on its bottles. Additionally, it carefully selects the packaging materials for each range; the labels, the bottles and the closures to minimise environmental impact. It works closely with stakeholders and charity partners to manage this.  The brand provides excellent ‘back shelf appeal’ with its eye-catching sea animal illustrations on the grape-touch, eco-friendly labels, making it an excellent choice for bars and casual dining, as well as restaurants.
