The design house of Rittergut & Runnymede was founded by Miles Jason Rice, who had a vision to create timeless, unexpected pieces of furniture, imbued with honesty and appreciation for the material, craft and design.

Miles takes inspiration from traditional designs and manufacturing processes, while allowing him to push far beyond these to create his very own visual language.

Rittergut & Runnymede stands for design that keeps craft alive.

Rittergut & Runnymede is headquartered at Rittergut Schönberg, an ancient knightly estate in the historical Altmark region of Germany which is, also known as “the Cradle of Prussia”. The estate dates back to at least the 13th century and over its long history has seen owners of influence and vision.

Its curated collection of pieces allows Rittergut & Runnymede to keep its promise to customers, regarding quality,  and design, and to meet customers’ expectations. Rittergut & Runnymede has spent nearly four years personally selecting specialist master craftspeople in Britain and Europe based on their experience – spanning several decades to ensure the highest level of quality and skills.

Rittergut & Runnymede pieces combine the richness of the natural and timeless material of high-quality hard woods with modern and eccentric designs. They are focal points in domestic as well as hospitality settings.

The Schönberg range, taking its name from its place of creation, caters for the various needs of the hospitality industry. The range consists of a dining table, a console table, and a high centre table. The Schönberg High Centre Table has been designed to sit proudly in entrance settings, as well as to cater for more casual meeting settings with its height perfect for standing receptions or to be used with bar stools.
