The Grand Brighton has launched GB1 at Home, a private dining experience bringing the culinary skill, expert service and delicious cuisine of the hotel’s restaurant GB1, to the comfort of the diner’s house or garden.
The seamless home-dining events have been created following a rise in demand from local food lovers and include a menu planning session with The Grand’s executive chef, and seafood expert, Alan White. The menus are developed based on local, seasonal produce with 90% of the seafood sourced from within an eight mile radius of the hotel. Coupled with GB1’s extensive drinks list, the sommelier can complement the food menu with a bespoke wine pairing experience.
Members of the GB1 team will be on hand throughout the planning and the evening itself to prepare, cook and provide meticulous service that has earned the restaurant a double AA rosette award. All ingredients and specialist cookery equipment are included as part of the package.
With a set service fee of £500 (£50 optional wine matching service) GB1 at Home is available for two to six guests within a 25 mile radius of The Grand Brighton, and is the ultimate way to celebrate special occasions. Bespoke menus are available from £50 per head.
Andrew Mosley, General Manager at The Grand comments: “I am delighted to announce the launch of GB1 at Home. Whether it is to celebrate a landmark birthday, wedding anniversary or pre-wedding celebration, this innovative dining experience will bring the renowned excellence and passion of Alan White and the double AA Rosette winning GB1 Kitchen straight into people’s homes.”
Alan White adds: “GB1 at Home provides us with a very exciting opportunity to showcase GB1 in a highly personalised and intimate setting, guaranteeing a memorable experience for all to enjoy.”
