The Independent Hotel Show presented by James Hallam Insurance Brokers, returns to Olympia London on 15 and 16 October and is now open for registration. You are warmly invited to visit the show, embedded in the industry as an inspirational platform dedicated to the needs of the independently spirited, luxury and boutique hotel community.
Explore a myriad of creative solutions set to transform the hotel guest experience, from a carefully curated collection of over 350 unique designers, technology innovators, new products and competitive services. Expand your mind at the Innovation Stage, in partnership with eviivo and designed by House of Sloane, and at the Hotel Vision Stage, designed by Graham & Green, two beautiful spaces for compelling discussions and intelligent seminars.
With consciousness a key theme, the Independent Hotel Show 2019 will uncover insights to design and build The Conscious Hotel Bedroom, powered by Criton. The space, designed by Harris & Harris, will consider, showcase and celebrate both the environmental and social factors of a hotel bedroom through luxury interiors and products that minimise a hotel’s carbon footprint. An overarching ethos of wellbeing in hospitality has been carefully considered in each aspect of the installation. In addition, to provide insight into today’s consumers’ attitudes to conscious travel, a report revealing the results of a detailed survey will be distributed at the show.
Elsewhere, catch up with industry friends in The Lobby, presented by bidroom, a central social hub designed by Dome Deco, famed for their cosmopolitan style. The Suite, hosted by Samsung, offers an exclusive space designed by Two’s Company Interior Design for VIP hoteliers and their guests to enjoy throughout the two-day event. In addition, this year, the Social Business Space will rethink speed networking, with intimate, insightful campfire sessions and roundtable discussions.
The show will also feature three coveted awards to recognise those who have made a significant contribution to the industry over the past year. These will include the Independent Hotelier accolade alongside two new categories, the Hotel Innovation award and GM of the Future, supported by the Master Innholders.
Commenting on this year’s show, Miranda Martin, Event Director at the Independent Hotel Show says: “We’re delighted to be able to link hoteliers to a curated collection of inspiring suppliers as we see innovation taken to new heights year on year. It’s incredible to see the show so well established in its eighth year as an event that our returning hoteliers, exhibitors and partners trust. Each year we grow our aspirations to provide a comprehensive experience that helps ambitious, conscientious hoteliers increase profitability, improve efficiency, identify key trends, and grow their industry networks.”
