This year, GBR at DUKES LONDON is proving that romantic gestures shouldn’t just be for Valentine’s Day. The ‘Great British Restaurant’ is excited to unveil its one of a kind Duke and Duchess Flights menu pairing. With DUKES’ elegantly matched dishes and drinks, couples can now enjoy bubbles all evening long whilst dining on a five-course feast created by Executive Head Chef, Nigel Mendham, carefully curated to accompany a selection of English sparkling wines or locally-brewed craft beer. The delicious menu includes seasonal ‘Best of British’ highlights such as Celeriac and Crispy Ham Hock with winter truffle, Gin Cured Salmon with burnt cucumber, lemon, dill oil and rye, Fillet of Grass Fed Beef with braised cheek, bone marrow and thyme crumbed carrot, and even ‘Egg and Soldiers’! Your dinner will be rounded off with a platter of sweet chocolate and cherry treats to share.
Each of the English sparkling wines and craft beers have been handpicked to perfectly complement each course. From the distinctive Gusbourne Rosé 2013 and Hammerton Pentonville Scout beer matched to the beef, or the Nyetimber Classic Cuvée and the Wild Beer Co. Madness IPA paired with the Sea Bass and lobster risotto, the selected drinks will bring out the individual flavours in each dish.
The new menu is priced at £65 per head for food, with optional sparkling wine at £35 per head and craft beer at £18 per head.
