THE JANUARY FURNITURE SHOW IS HOTTING UP

THE JANUARY FURNITURE SHOW IS HOTTING UP

With an ever increasing line up of exhibitors, the 2016 January Furniture Show looks set to be a scorcher.

Some of the UK’s top furniture and furnishings brands – specialising in the hotel, restaurant and contract markets – will be showcasing their latest products and innovations at the NEC show in Birmingham, 24-27 January.

Just some of the great names eager to bring their hottest new products include Parker Knoll, Skovby, ROM, Buoyant, Westbridge, Lebus, Kingstown, Sherborne, Morris Group, Alstons, Wiemann, Rauch, TCS, Willis & Gambier, Baker Furniture, Libra, Gallery Direct, Stone the Crows and Dar Lighting.

The January Furniture Show’s strong team is working hard to make the show an even greater success and to meet exhibitors’ and visitors’ requirements. For those who have a business in the hospitality market, this show provides the ideal platform to showcase products. It’s the first opportunity of the season to see a selection of the very latest new and exclusive products and meet the design teams on the stands to discuss any upcoming projects.

What the organisers have to say:

We want to bring the summer feel of the Manchester Show to the winter show in January.  It is a serious show with great exhibitors and knowledgeable buyers, but it can still be a really enjoyable show to do and to visit.  Our intention is to host an event that gives exhibitors an excellent forum to showcase their hard work and buyers an excellent forum to see the best products on the market and meet suppliers face to face – all in a well organised and easy environment.” Theresa Raymond, event director

What the exhibitors had to say:

“We’re really happy that the show has remained in January – we see it as the national show and it is very important to us strategically as we use it to launch all our new ranges.”  Rif Lalani, Bentley Designs

“January Furniture Show back to its best.” Marius Verwijs, Kelston House International

“This is the first time in eight years we have come to the show and we have come out well ahead of target.” Glenn Aston, Ultra Furniture

“A revived January Furniture Show.” Nicola Williams, Willis & Gambier

What the visitors had to say:

“The whole show had a great feel and a new buzz about it.  All the new stands were brilliant and actually raised the whole level of the show.” Penny Craze, Fairway Furniture

“It was lively, up-beat and well attended with a wonderful range of exhibitors.” Alan Brooks, Clements

“This year’s JFS was like a breath of fresh air with a great mix of products. It’s the busiest I’ve experienced for years, if anything some stands were just too busy.  Great to see the normal days have been put in place for next year!” Royce Clark, Grampian Furnishers.

“The only show that matters for furniture retailers!”  Mark Langley, Beautiful Homes
