Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Qinghai-Golmud. Sitting in the foothills of the Kunlun Mountain Pass on the Tibetan Plateau, the 112-room hotel is the first internationally-branded hotel in Golmud.
The hotel is located in the south of the city center, five kilometers from Golmud Railway Station and 25 kilometers from Golmud Airport, offering access to attractions such as Chaerhan Salt Lake, Huyang Forest and the snow-covered Geladandong Peak. The hotel is operated by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Qinghai Zhonghao Natural Gas Chemical Co., Ltd.

DoubleTree by Hilton Qinghai-Golmud provides settings for any gathering up to 530 people. Weddings, business conferences and other social events may be held in the grand ballroom, three flexible meeting rooms, or the outdoor courtyard, all featuring A/V technology.
Also available is an indoor swimming pool and 24-hour fitness center offering Precor-branded cardiovascular and strength training equipment.
