All hotel guests can enjoy a blissful escape to the hotel’s world class spa facilities. This includes complimentary access to the private, state-of-the-art health club, Jacuzzi and Sanarium, as well as one of the Capital’s few chlorine-free 15-metre indoor pool.
Designed to rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit, the spa offers exclusive body treatments in its sensuous treatment rooms, in partnership with Germaine de Capuccini, one of Europe’s leading skin care houses, offering a range of exclusive treatments created based on the best therapies and techniques in the world.
The Landmark London is the only hotel that uses these products exclusively in the UK. Treatments take a holistic approach and include the “Mediterranean by Candlelight” massage, a candlelit treatment which uses aromatic and relaxing essential oils and applies energising crystals to the body’s Chakra points creating a sense of harmony. The warm oil from the candle is then poured over the body for a prolonged and hydrating massage.
The spa also welcomes non hotel guests for spa days and has a variety of membership options for residents within the local area.
The Glassworks Health Club
Located at The Varsity Hotel and extremely popular with guests, the spa is housed in a beautiful Eighteenth Century glass warehouse, with high ceilings, original brickwork and timber trussed ceiling, visitors can feel inspired whether working-out or winding-down.
The luxurious spa has been redesigned, using darker tones and lighting to create a relaxing ambience. The Glassworks’ iconic Jacuzzi, which overlooks the River Cam, is one of the most peaceful spots in all of Cambridge and is surrounded by soft armchairs, designed for reclining. The relaxation centre also features individual sauna and steam rooms, lit to make visitors feel like they are unwinding under twinkling stars.
Elemis treatments are available in eight different therapy rooms to both members and non-members. Guests can choose from spa packages or individual treatments, including body massages, manicures, pedicures and a number of facials.
