Over 20,000 people a month (20,870 to be exact) search Google for a “spiritual awakening.”
To achieve a spiritual awakening, there are several things to try: declutter your home and mind, examine your beliefs, take care of yourself, learn to let go; the list is endless.
Possibly the best thing to do is to expand your mind – and the best way to do this is to travel!

To many, Ibiza is not just a party haven, it’s a place of healing, which could explain why it makes second place in the list (16,262,531 tags.)
Spiritual highlights include: Es Vedra, a mysterious rock island off the western coast, otherwise known as the third most magnetic place in the world.

Finishing off the top three most photogenic spiritual destinations is Japan’s iconic Kyoto, with 15,417,174 tags.
It’s the most technologically advanced location in the world yet Japan has a powerful connection to its ancient heritage and deep spiritual traditions. Nowhere is this most resonant than in Kyoto.
