Award winning mentoring initiative, Plan B, is seeking more mentors and mentees for its 2020 programme as it continues to focus on supporting women in the hospitality sector.
Plan B, which was launched in October 2018 and recently received the CGA Hero & Icon Award for contributions to the industry, has helped more than 100 women in the past 12 months with ambitions to achieve senior executive and board level positions within the sector.
Emma Causer, who co-founded Plan B alongside Holly Addison and Ann Elliott and is group sales and marketing director at tech solutions provider, Zonal, said: “It has been a monumental year for Plan B as we have gone from zero to attracting different female and male mentors who have helped women from across the hospitality sector to achieve their ambitions, but we need more mentors to keep up with demand.
“Looking to 2020 we have an exciting programme of events already confirmed and are looking for new female mentees to start their journey with us. We have ambitions of our own to encourage greater diversity on the boards and support the aim of 33% board positions being for female leaders.”
The following ‘speed mentoring’ events have been confirmed for 2020 at Revolution Bar, Leadenhall, London from 5-8pm: January (21st and 27th), March (17th and 24th), June (16th and 23rd) and September (15th and 22nd).
