NEW GENERAL MANAGER JOINS JURYS INN CROYDON @JurysInnsHotels

Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland has appointed experienced hotelier, Hazel Galloway, as the new General Manager of Jurys Inn Croydon.

Part of the Jurys Inn family for three years, working as a GM for Hotel Du Vin in between, Hazel is no stranger to the Jurys Inn brand. With over ten years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Hazel has gained invaluable experience and has witnessed first-hand how the industry has evolved.

Before joining the Jurys Inn family in April 2016, Hazel gained experience through long term management roles with three other well-known hotel brands. In 2013 she was appointed as Revenue Manager at Ardoe House Hotel and Spa, before working her way up to Operations Manager with Malmaison in 2014. Following this, Hazel held a position as Hotel Manager at Holiday Inn, before taking on a new challenge with Jurys Inn hotels.

Hazel’s appointment comes as Jurys Inn Croydon unveils a £2.75m refurbishment. The new refurb has seen all bedrooms, bar, restaurant and the lobby transformed with a new, sleek and modern design for guests to enjoy. The hotel has also received Four Star AA Accreditation, which was awarded immediately after inspection in September.

Guests staying at Jurys Inn Croydon can enjoy stylish and spacious bedrooms featuring the DREAM bed by Jurys Inn, designed with ultimate comfort in mind, a sleek new bar and restaurant serving food daily, an all-day Costa Coffee bar, 14 fully equipped meeting rooms and a new connectivity area.

Jason Carruthers, Managing Director of Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland says:

“Hazel is already a valued member of the Jurys Inn family and we know that she will be a fantastic addition to Jurys Inn Croydon at this exciting stage in the hotel’s development. Hazel brings years of managerial experience, as well as wealth of knowledge of the Jurys Inn brand, so we are confident that Hazel will excel in her new role..”
