BIID ANNOUNCES FINAL PANEL DISCUSSION FOR 2019 ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) has announced the final line-up of inspirational speakers who will be participating in the annual conference; Inside Knowledge 2019: What is an Interior Designer Worth? Taking place on Thursday 7th November 2019 at 30 Euston Square, London, the conference will feature an exciting talks programme based around the subject of design fees, providing valuable advice for interior design professionals.
The final panel to be announced as part of this year’s conference programme is ‘Life Outside London; how to adapt your interior design business outside the capital.’ Chaired by BIID Director, Lindsey Rendall, this session will explore the benefits and challenges of working in interior design outside London. Lindsey will be joined on the panel by BIID Members Caroline Palk, Phoebe Oldrey, Anna Campbell-Jones and Richard Wilkinson, who run design practices outside of London.
The panel discussion will explore questions such as: How does interior design in the regions differ from London? Do designers have to adjust their pricing outside London? What are the key benefits of working outside of London? The panel will also explore what London designers can learn from their regional counterparts.
