The Londoner, Leicester Square, London
Launching June 2020
The Londoner is scheduled to open its doors in June 2020. Taking centre stage in London’s Leicester Square neighbourhood, The Londoner not only places guests in the world’s first super boutique hotel, but also at the heart of the West End theatre land. Boutique in feeling yet staggering in scale, the hotel will open across 16 storeys with 350 guest rooms and suites and a tower penthouse with panoramic views; two private screening rooms; a mix of six concept eateries, bars and a tavern, including alfresco dining on the ground floor and a contemporary Japanese lounge bar with a rooftop terrace and fire pit; plus an expansive ballroom suited for any occasion, a variety of meeting spaces and a results-driven gym and spa.
The LABS Collective Launches STAY Camden, London
Launching March 2020
The LABS Collective unveils its residential brand, STAY – a future facing concept shaking up the world of hospitality. STAY has opened its first location in Hawley Wharf, Camden, offering design-led and tech-savvy serviced apartments to encourage a new generation of long and mid-term guests to make the area their home.
Having identified Central London’s recent gravitational pull North, the LABS Collective has hand-picked Hawley Wharf as the perfect canal side location for the first STAY property. Opening in its entirety in March 2020, STAY provides guests the comfort and convenience of home, combined with the luxuries of a boutique hotel. STAY offers instant and flexible accommodation without the hassle of a traditional rental model, for guests checking in for weeks or even months.
The 169 apartments with 1, 2 or 3 bed options – each with a fully fitted kitchen and living area – are designed by the LABS Collective’s dedicated in-house Interior Designer, Yaara Gooner, and place guests at the lively heart of everything Camden has to offer. With city space at a premium, the apartments are over double the size of a typical hotel room, starting from 55sqm/592sqft. The intelligent use of space is based on the understanding that the apartments aren’t just a place of sleep but a space to live, share, connect and belong, embracing the convenience and comfort of a home while making it a place of focused work.
The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon
Launching summer 2020
Opening in summer 2020, the 200-key Tokyo EDITION Toranomon will be built as part of a redevelopment of the former Pastoral Building, a mixed-use project comprising offices, residences and a medical center. Located in Minato ward, the hotel site is within walking distance from Kamiyacho Station and Roppongi-Itchome Station; it is also a short drive to Toranomon Station and Tokyo Station as well as minutes from government offices, embassies and consulates, office buildings, retail and dining facilities, and cultural sites such as Akasaka Palace and Meiji Shrine.

Hotel Amapa, Puerto Vallarta

Opening in the vibrant and historic old town of Puerto Vallarta in Spring of 2020, Hotel Amapa embodies the fusion of traditional Mexican aesthetic with a laidback yet spirited vision in contemporary design bringing a new, fresh vibe to the area. With over 35 years of hospitality experience, developer David Harries led a pioneering team including Nicole Haime of NMH Creative and Interior Designer Angela Damman to conceptualise Hotel Amapa which will offer 55 rooms one block from Playa Los Muertos. The hotel, proudly part of the Design HotelsTM collection, will act as a catalyst for change in the area by providing something currently unattainable –great design, an ideal location and dedicated service.

The West Hollywood EDITION, Los Angeles
Launching November 2019
Opening in Fall 2019 on LA’s famed Sunset Blvd, The West Hollywood EDITION is the collection’s first west-coast outpost that will consist of 190 guest rooms and 20 luxury residences. Conceived by Ian Schrager in partnership with Marriott International, The West Hollywood EDITION will continue to combine the personal, intimate, individualised experience that Ian Schrager is known for, with the global reach, operational expertise and scale of Marriott. The West Hollywood EDITION is designed by famed designer John Pawson and will feature a signature restaurant along with an art-filled lobby lounge and bar, basement club, a six-treatment room spa, state of the art-fitness center and an expansive rooftop pool, complete with 360 degree views of the Los Angeles skyline.
The Chow Kit, an Ormond Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

The Chow Kit, an Ormond Hotel, is rethinking the notion of luxury for the contemporary traveller by editing out the unnecessary and is focusing on what matters the most. This new, simplified, luxury boutique concept prioritises great service, design and price ensuring that Ormond Hotels’ guests enjoy the highest quality essentials alongside thoughtful, beautiful design. Both the architecture and interiors of The Chow Kit have been developed by award winning, Brooklyn-based design practice, Studio Tack, who was inspired by the late-night revelry that lurked in the shadows of Chow Kit’s alleys and bars in the 1970s and 1980s. The Chow Kit is Studio Tacks’s first project in Asia.
MoMo’s Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur

MoMo’s Kuala Lumpur is a new and playful social hotel concept opening in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur’s gritty, up-and-coming neighbourhood with rooms starting from $40 per night. MoMo’s is a design-led hotel by Akin Atelier and features multi-dimensional social spaces and micro rooms at a value-for-money price point aimed at creative communities, millennials and urban nomads.
