From December 14, 2019 La Folie Douce arrives in Les Arcs.
The resort’s ultimate «altitude» concept will be accessible both by gondola, on foot or by ski… So, there’s really no
excuse not to party!
La Folie Douce invites all generations to experience immense, fun filled moments, with its concept adapted to
cater to all. Whether it be family, friends, young or old, there really is something for everyone.
What’s great about this venue? Here we have longer opening hours than others in the station. Here you can enjoy
until 19:00pm daily and every Thursday, we extended our hours into the night.
RESTAURANT OPTIONS FOR ALL TASTES
Executive Chef Franck Mischler has devised a culinary universe specific to each of the 3 restaurants on site
(La Fruitière, La Petite Cuisine and Le Butcher). La Folie Douce can happily accommodate up to 1100 people daily
(and always with a smile).
La Fruitière: Sophisticated restauration in the mountain !
This restaurant offers creative cuisine that revisits local dishes without ever distorting them, giving pride of place to
local products in an authentic and original manner.
La Petite Cuisine: Yes, it’s a self-service, but a trendy one to say the least!
A plentiful menu and filled with quality cuisine is served in a chic and atypical setting, boasting a melange of authen-
tic wood and contemporary materials.
Le Butcher: Snacking bites at La Folie!
Perfect for ski enthusiasts, for those who do not want to waste a minute on the mountain, the Butcher is an ideal
alternative. The Butcher’s flexibility combines quality with speed, whilst offering a menu of burgers, sandwiches,
waffles…. All to be savoured on the terrace or take away for those in a hurry.
Also, to ensure comfort, La Folie Douce has thought of everyone. This unique venue offers dedicated spaces for
children, sports events, and a host of artistic performances. All designed to share beautiful, unforgettable expe-
riences with family and friends.
THE FESTIVAL OF MADNESS!
Whether you arrive on skis or by foot, guests can enjoy one of our famous shows, all accompanied by progressive DJ
Sets, live concerts and aerial spectaculars from the performers of La Folie Douce Team.
Led by the choreographer Sergey Novikov, the troupe delivers a breath-taking open-air show. During this
period, the audience is kept in amazement for an hour and then elevated to the sound of the latest electronic music
throughout Clubbing from 15h to 17h.
A PROFESSED STYLE AND CAREFUL DECORATION EMBODIES THE FOLIE DOUCE SPIRIT
At La Folie Douce Les Arcs, every element is deliberate, so the joyful and heartly mood can be felt down to the smal-
lest detail. This can be noted on the outdoor terrace, where guests can enjoy a circular bar boasting an impressive
mast through its centre designed for aerial dancers and DJs. No matter where you are, the show is surely unmis-
sable!
At dusk the bar transforms, seeing glass blocks illuminating its entirety! Finally, we inject a little fun to the terrace
with a multicoloured, LED tunnel running beneath.
In the restaurants (La Petite Cuisine, La Fruitière, Butcher) particular care has been brought with its fusion of
materials and decoration, defining each place with a marked identity. For La Fruitière, the cooperative spirit has
been preserved thanks to the use of light wood and the integration of huge milk cans surrounding the central bar.
La Petite Cuisine, on the other hand, has been thought of as a cosy and chic environment with a lot of material
accoutrements. Here, you’ll find Theia tiles straight from Portugal, alabaster backlighting, plus the imposing bar
which culminates several metres above the ground, all with the desire to make you truly feel at home.
A little more? Marvel in huge illustrations made to measure and painted with an aged treatment.
FUN AND RESPONSIBLE
Like the Groups other sites, La Folie Douce Les Arcs is part of an eco-responsible approach. The establishment
of Folie Douce at altitude requires flawless organisation, especially with its materials. The chalets are integrated into
their natural environment, mixing local materials: stones, wood and slate. The establishments are also part of the
local economic landscape. Thus, when it come to the kitchens, a regional approach is favoured thanks to partnerships
with producers within the area who value local products.
For several years, waste has been sorted on site. Carton compactors and glass grinders were installed to reduce
the initial volume by 5 times. In addition, the consumption of plastic has been significantly reduced through
the use of straws and cardboard bags, glass bottles or cans, much easier to recycle. Finally, the buildings are heated
in part by the deported groups of refrigerators, which allows almost zero energy consumption.
From 14th December 2019, Les Arcs will intensely live the La Folie Douce experience!
