29 th October 2019 – Freshly delivered for its tenth year, Daios Cove Luxury Resort & Villas will reopen for the season unveiling a
meticiulous re-invention. Take renowned culinary talents, mix with a new vibrant ‘Ocean’ restaurant and bar, new deluxe suites,
and what is the result? A new era of elegance in the evolving story of this five-star hillside beach resort, located in the beautiful,
secluded cove on the North-East coast of Crete.

Culinary Clout at Ocean Restaurant and Bar
Gastronomes visiting Daios Cove will enjoy eating at the redesigned Ocean; a new restaurant and bar at the heart of the resort.
Designed with the cove in mind, a blend of earthy textures and materials amplify a sense of understated luxury and combine with
rockery and views of Aegean Sea, reflecting the richness and colour of the surrounding landscape.
Long a leader of mixology revolution in Crete, Daios Cove will pioneer the way with innovative culinary programming, as it
announces a partnership with Alain Ducasse Conseil. Spearheading the resort’s food and beverage offering, the Conseil have
created menus that have been crafted to harmonise exceptional food with a healthy lifestyle, and highlight the very best local and
seasonal ingredients with a contemporary twist to traditional Greek flavours.
To complement the food, The Clumsies’ – who were recently acknowledged as number six in the World’s 50 Best Bars – expert
team of mixologists have skilfully created imaginative cocktails, all set to soulful sounds and jaw-dropping vistas from the achingly
stylish poolside lounge and bar.
Suite Amour with the new Deluxe Junior Suites
For years, Daios Cove’s Suites have enchanted couples, honeymooners and singles alike. Launching for the 2020 season are the
Deluxe Junior Suites, some offering individual pools, terraces or balconicies, all with breathtaking views of the shimmering ocean
and cove.
With Brexit uncertainly fuelling the demand for all-inclusive holidays, Daios Cove is offering Suite guests and above access to The
Residents’ Club – the ultimate gastronomic privilege where guests can benefit from a la carte dining in all six of the resort’s
restaurants with an extensive winelist, unlimited room service and minibar. Ideal for family getaways, all non-alcoholic drinks,
snacks and ice-creams are also available, ensuring children are kept fed, watered and happy at no extra cost.
Health is Wealth with BXR and Daios Cove
Responding to the latest statisics from the Global Wellness Institute claiming the wellness travel sector is expected to reach $919
billion by 2022, the Daios Cove partnership with BXR London will mark the first time BXR has taken its trainers and concept out of
the UK.
The collaboration is designed with the unique geography of The Cove and resort’s facilities in mind and will set a new precedent
for both the hospitality and wellness industry. Retreats will be available to book from January 2020 throughout the year, in
addition to a fully functional BXR infrastructure available for all visitors to Daios Cove, with BXR approved fitness experts on hand
and offering a diverse programme of fitness classes.
As part of the programme, guests will enjoy specially curated meals prepared by the resort’s holistic nutritional consultant Sarah
Safarian, with a variety of new fresh and wholesome menu options and tailored protein shakes.
The partnership will transform Daios Cove’s fitness offering, forming part of a comprehensive refurbishment programme in the
wellness areas, with the launch of a new spa concept launching for 2021 season.
