HOTLY ANTICIPATED DUBLIN HOTEL TO BE FITTED OUT BY AWARD-WINNING INDEPENDENT SPECIALIST, PURE FITOUT
Leading independent fit out specialist, Pure Fitout, has been appointed for the exclusive fitout of The Mayson, a hotly anticipated 97-bedroom hotel in Dublin; its largest project to date.
After the successful delivery of sister hotel, The Devlin in late 2018, Pure Fitout has been appointed by Oakmount to complete the high-spec interior of the entire hotel including a rooftop terrace restaurant, conference room, and boutique gym.
Pure Fitout will be working closely with the designer, O’Donnell O’Neill, to realise the client’s vision of the seven-storey hotel, set to be one of the most modern and architecturally stunning hotels in the Business District of Ireland’s capital.
Briefed to bring new life to one of Dublin’s historic buildings, Pure Fitout will be restoring the old pub, which will be named The Bottle Boy, as well as converting the second story into eight beautifully appointed suites and bathroom facilities; while the two floors of the original main building will feature a bright open-plan lobby, restaurant and bar area, which will lead out to beautifully designed terraces. The property has been excavated to facilitate two basement levels which accommodate a large, modern conference centre and a boutique gym.
Ronan Higham, Founder and Managing Director of Pure Fitout said: “This is by far our largest project to date, which is extremely exciting for the team, and our second exclusive hotel project in just two years. We’ll have a workforce of over 300 local Irish tradesmen working on the project, committed to delivering a high-quality finish in the tight timeframe set. Our leading in-house capabilities for manufacturing bespoke features and fittings enables us to guarantee delivery of projects within short timeframes and to the high level of craftsmanship we’ve become well known for.”
Higham added: “A unique element of the project is the preservation of certain aspects of the property, including the old Valence & McGrath pub, which will require the restoration of the shopfront, and the ground and first floor of the main property, which was formerly a Timber warehouse dating back to 1870.”
