The DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon is gearing up for the festive season, and invites guests to join the hotel for a lunchtime feast that’s ideal for the office Christmas party.
This year, Christmas midweek lunches are available from Tuesday to Friday throughout December, and cost just £13.95 per person, to include plated entrees, a main course from the carvery and mince pies, tea, coffee and seasonal novelties, from 12pm for a 12:30pm start.
The venue is popular with local businesses, as well as families and groups of friends who fancy a treat and not having to cook.
General manager Adam Flint said: “Our festive events team is already getting stuck into this special time of year. We can take the hassle out of planning and organising a Christmas lunch, so that you focus on the important bit – ensuring your staff enjoy the festivities! Equally, we know that groups of friends and relatives will enjoy relaxing with us over a delicious meal.
“We cater for many different budgets, dates and tastes, so have something for everyone.”
The hotel offers a good line-up of other party packages for the festive season, aimed at all sizes and types of groups. Options include a Santa Sunday lunch, Lydiard party nights with a Winter Wonderland theme, private Sunday parties and a New Year’s Las Vegas-styled event.
The party nights continue into January. Equally, of course, you can also celebrate here on Christmas Day itself – and let someone else do the hard work!
Contact the events team to book your event on 01793 410958 or email [email protected]. A £10 deposit per person secures your place, while notice of any dietary requirements, along with the outstanding balance, are needed by 2 November 2018.
The hotel is only a short distance from Swindon’s town centre, and handy for Junction 16 of the M4, but is also near Wiltshire’s delightful trees and hills.
For anyone wishing to combine a Christmas with an overnight stay for a complete seasonal escape, there are 171 air-conditioned en-suite rooms complete with coffee machines, while a gym gives the chance to burn off a few of those Christmas calories.
