The Jem Boiler (more commonly know in the Armed Forces as the Jackson Boiler) found on most Royal Navy vessels had up until recently had been manufactured and supplied by Kempsafe on the South Coast. Kempsafe sadly ceased trading at the beginning of 2016 and this supply chain was about to disappear forever until a couple of former employees decided to step in.
Angel Marine was setup in March 2016 by Chris Howells and Darren Holt who decided to take up the challenge to continue to manufacture and supply the Jem Water Boilers. Not only have they managed to keep up with the supply of the Jem Water Boilers but it also means that galley ranges previously manufactured and supplied would still be available along with qualified marine engineers to service and support existing equipment already in the market place along with the same ‘One Stop Shop’ for both offshore and onshore catering & laundry spares.
Customers which now include BAE, Babcock, Scottish Fisheries, Ferry Operators and Cruise liners are already seeing the benefit or working with Angel Marine.
Angel Marine are here to safeguard the knowledge, experience and support that has been key to the marine industry. To find out more visit www.angelmarine.co.uk or call 02380 986440
