For December 2016, Sopwell House has launched a Festive Afternoon Tea that offers a wide range of savoury and sweet treats, plus a glass of suitably Christmassy mulled wine.
The afternoon tea offers both traditional plain scones and the more seasonal Gingerbread spiced raisin scones. Savoury delights include Norfolk turkey on cranberry bread, and Smoked salmon & cracked black pepper on brown bread. Meanwhile, those with a sweet-tooth are satisfied with delectable cakes such as Maple & banana cake, Sopwell Battenberg, and Mince pies. These delicious morsels are all washed down with a glass of seasonally spiced mulled wine.
Festive Afternoon Tea is available for £34.50 per person and can be enjoyed until 30 December 2016.
Afternoon Tea is served daily from 1pm until 5pm in the Cocktail Lounge, the Restaurant and Conservatory Bar. Guests can enjoy far reaching views of the surrounding countryside while they indulge in one of the country’s favourite pastimes.
