Motel One has been awarded the title of Best Budget Hotel 2016 by the German Institute of Service Quality. The European design-led budget brand is delighted to have been awarded this title for the fourth year after previously winning in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
German news channel n-tv asked the German Institute for Service Quality to analyse the facilities and services provided by eight budget hotel chains in Germany. The hotels’ facilities and services were inspected on-site whilst the quality of contact over the phone and online was also assessed.
The report outlines that “one particular point of excellence at Motel One was its very good service quality. The hotel staff were friendly, well-motivated, knowledgeable and professional. Another aspect that contributed to this positive overall impression was the pleasant atmosphere. Any requests met with above-average individual attention, and the freshness and quality of the breakfast were rated as particularly positive.”
There are 53 Motel One properties throughout Europe including Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, London and Edinburgh.
