Marco Polo Hotels Re-Energises the Sales Effort in Shanghai

Marco Polo Hotels has announced the appointment of
Ms. Kitty Liu as Regional Director of Sales, Shanghai for the hotel group.
Previously holding the position of Assistant Director of Sales – Regional Sales Office
for Park Hotel Group, Kitty possesses valuable regional sales and hotel property
sales experience from her times with reputable hotel groups such as Starwood,
Shangri-La, Carlson Rezidor and Infinite Luxury. She has more than 15 years’
experience working in China’s hospitality industry.


Together with the current team, Kitty will drive incremental business across all major
segments to Marco Polo and Niccolo hotels from the important Shanghai market.
Patrick Ngiam, Global Director of Sales for Marco Polo Hotels said: “We are delighted
to have Kitty strengthen our current Shanghai sales force. We understand the
significance of the city as a vital feeder market and we are confident that she can use
her past experience to drive business to our 14 hotels.”
A Chinese national, Kitty holds a Bachelor degree in Finance from The Central
Broadcasting University.
