Michelin starred chef and restaurateur Jason Atherton is set to headline Food Service 2020, the brand new, two-day conference launching at Hotelympia 2016. In the keynote interview with Duncan Ackery of Ackery Consulting, Atherton will talk about his experiences and the challenges of ‘re-imagining global for local’, opening the conference designed to deliver disruptive, trailblazing ideas for foodservice of the future.
Food Service 2020 takes place on 1-2 March at Hotelympia 2016 and is aimed at foodservice consultants, architectural practices, interior designers, facilities managers, equipment manufacturers and management consultants.
Amongst the thought leaders sharing insights on such subjects as disruptive and emerging foodservice trends, creating sensory experiences, inspirational restaurant design and ‘neuromarketing’ are My Ly, senior marketing manager for YO! Sushi, Jozef Youssef, Founder and Chef Patron at Kitchen Theory, Simon Stenning, executive director of M&C Allegra Foodservice, Corrado Accardi, CEO and founder of Pizza Rossa and Afroditi Krassa, the designer behind restaurants including Itsu, Café Rouge and Dishoom.
Day 1 will conclude with ‘The Big Event’ gala dinner with entertainment, and on Day 2, conference goers can choose to secure tickets to attend restaurant familiarisation trips in The City, exploring Atherton’s social Japanese dining experience Sosharu and glamorous 24th floor retreat, City Social.
