BCFA’s partnership with UKTI sees members make impact at Dubai Hotel Show

The British Contract Furnishing Association (BCFA)’s partnership with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) enabled multiple association members to make their mark on the global hospitality industry at the Dubai Hotel Show 2015. BCFA members including Burgess Furniture, Sunbury Design, Distinction Contract, Bancroft Soft Furnishings and Hypnos were among the 40+ British companies who took stands at the event, amongst 13,000 of the world’s leading names in hospitality.

Held in the Dubai World Trade Centre and attracting over 17,700 hotel and hospitality professionals from 98 countries, the Dubai Hotel Show once again proved itself as the perfect opportunity for British businesses seeking to both launch and strengthen their international presence. This sentiment was echoed by Former UK Home and Foreign Secretary Jack Straw – who visited the event on its opening day.

On the value of attending international exhibitions and how the BCFA can help British companies succeed in global markets, Sue Graves, BCFA International Project Manager commented “We were delighted with the quality of visitors our groups received. This show is certainly one of the most comprehensive ways of both introducing and maintaining a brand in the Middle East/MENA hospitality marketplace. As the BCFA is an accredited UKTI Trade Challenge Partner, any companies looking to attend an international trade shows should make use of our extensive expertise and knowledge – we are committed to helping UK companies enter new markets to improve their export potential”.
