FUTURE INN PLYMOUTH FIRST HOTEL TO SIGN UP TO THE PLYMOUTH ARMED FORCES CORPORATE COVENANT

Future Inn Plymouth has become the first hotel in the city to sign up to the Plymouth Armed Forces Corporate Covenant, aimed at improving employment opportunities for veterans and their families.

 

Joining many local businesses, each company pledges to offer support to members of the Armed Forces community and recognise the contribution the armed forces, including military families, have made to businesses and the UK as a whole.

 

The hotel is involved in this scheme as it is committed to helping veterans, reservists and family members through the employment process , complimenting  Future Inns ongoing investment in people and training to support their transition from military to civilian jobs.

 

Janice Carpenter, General Manager, Future Inn Plymouth said:

 

“Plymouth is a Garrison City with a proud and illustrious military history; home to the Royal Navy and the Royal Marines since 1691 and a base for half of UK’s ships and frigates.

 

“We are pleased to be part of this scheme and proud to be the very first hotel to sign up. As a business we feel it is important to acknowledge the bravery and sacrifice our service men and women make in order to keep us safe both home and abroad.”
