HARE & HOUNDS, NEWBURY CELEBRATES ITS 1st YEAR OF BUSINESS AND APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER: CHRIS CONNOR

Hare & Hounds, the 17th century boutique coaching inn, pub and restaurant located in Speen, Newbury, has appointed Chris Connor as General Manager.

With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Connor has spent the last six years on the leadership team at The Lucky Onion, a prominent, award-winning boutique hotel and restaurant group centred in The Cotswolds. Previous roles included Group operations manager at Bel & The Dragon and growing challenger food brands.

Chris will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Hare & Hounds and will bring with him a wealth of experience in guest and group management, extensive capital refurbishments, procurement, and compliance.

Commenting on his new role, Connor said: “I am thrilled to take on the position of General Manager. I look forward to delivering an excellent guest experience working alongside my new team and supporting the continued development of the Hare & Hounds, as well as the sustained growth of the wider business.”

Whilst being run as an independent boutique, Hare & Hounds comes under the umbrella of Grosvenor Pubs and Inns, owned by Red Lion Holdings, the pub investment group led by sector entrepreneurs Jason Myers and David Ramsey.
