THE CAMBRIDGE BELFRY HOTEL & SPA APPOINT JON NIELD AS NEW GENERAL MANAGER

Experienced hotelier Jon Nield, joins The Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa team to drive the resort forward with a new energy, focusing on customer experience and local community.

Nield’s career history spans over 20 years within the hospitality industry, having worked predominately within independent hotels overseeing operations and food & beverage departments. His experience has involved managing within De Vere properties, including their Flagship Wokefield Eatste for over six years.

Originally from the North, Nield has also previously managed F & B departments at Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City Football Clubs as well as Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. Most recently, Nield has been in a consultancy role at The District Group, making commercial and operational impacts within boutique properties across the South East.

The Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa, part of  The QHotels Collection which has 21 hotels and resorts located across the UK, are delighted to welcome Jon to the team as they embark on a new chapter.

Nield has plans to implement a destination-led strategy that supports putting Cambridgeshire on the map by creating a resort feel for the property, adding and maximising facilities to attract a full mix of visitors, from couples and families to large corporate groups.
