Hospitality leaders edyn today announced it will pledge 100 free nights to NHS workers in partnership with NHS rewards initiative, Nights On Us. The pledge – which totals to 50 two-night stays – will be shared across the edyn portfolio, at four of its Locke and Cove locations over the coming months.
Nights On Us was established during the peak of the pandemic, and partners with hospitality brands to thank NHS workers by offering free hotel stays. Since its launch last year, the initiative has already offered over 7,000 free hotel rooms to NHS workers.
Earlier this month, edyn’s lifestyle aparthotel brand Locke announced its first partnership with Nights On Us, which was organised in collaboration with intimate gig specialists Sofar Sounds. The first-of-its-kind live music event took place on Sunday 25th July at Bermonds Locke in London, and gave NHS workers the chance to win a free hotel stay and tickets to a specially-curated Sofar Sounds gig, which featured performances from Just Vic and Mcknasty.
The first campaign will launch on 26 July 2021 and will give away 10 two-night stays at COVE Liverpool – the latest opening from edyn’s newly-launched serviced apartment brand, Cove. Subsequent announcements will be made about stays at Locke locations across the UK in the coming months.
Further to this, in an effort to spread their word of gratitude even further, edyn and Nights On Us are offering every entrant an exclusive Nights On Us Appreciation Code that will offer special rates at all Locke and Cove locations. NHS workers that are interested in entering the giveaway can visit www.nightsonus.co.uk/cove-liverpool and enter their details for the chance to win a stay.
Stephen McCall, CEO of edyn said, “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Nights On Us as a gesture of sincere thanks to the NHS for its unrelenting hard work and dedication – throughout the pandemic, and far beyond. Nights On Us is an important partner for us, and the experiences it has created to date is truly commendable. We hope that through this collaboration, NHS workers can find sanctuary from their day-to-day with us, and a moment of well-earned respite.”
Greg Früchtenicht, Co-Founder of Nights On Us said, “Since starting Nights On Us, our aim has always been to unite the UK hospitality industry to say a nationwide thank-you to our incredible NHS workers. Our Partnership with edyn is testament to the good will and generosity that our industry can show to some of the country’s hardest workers. This is just the start of our partnership, and we’re excited to continue thanking our NHS workers throughout the rest of 2021 and beyond.”
