The Londoner’s Meetings and Events Spaces Unveiled:

THE BALLROOM – the venue of choice for large Corporate, Exhibition, Music, Awards and TV in Leicester square

A design marvel in itself is the Ballroom – a luxurious yet contemporary state-of-the-art 6,092 square-foot pillarless venue space, with some of the highest ceilings in London. With its impressive capacity, enabling it to host up to 864 guests making it one of the biggest in the capital, the ballroom can be seamlessly transformed for an array of functions.

Steel plays a big part in the interior of The Londoner and appears in different forms, textures and colours. On the Ballroom ceiling, steel trusses sit within the open grid feature that carries theatrical lighting and special effect AV equipment. Main speakers are hung off the metal subframe above the feature ceiling, marking The Londoner as having the only feature ceiling in the capital capable of carrying such lighting specifications of this kind.

Various solutions of the ballroom have been created with hotel guest’s needs in mind to engage and connect with people and businesses on a hybrid level offering spaces which are at the forefront of technology and innovation for events. State of the art 4K projections systems, large 5.5-meter electric screens, ceiling hung LED screens, a BOSE Showmax Stage Audio system (the same equipment which is installed in the O2 Arena) and more are just a few of the SMART features available, all overseen by The Londoner’s Hosts and events team. Suited for any hybrid occasion, its digital and tech capabilities mean that the space can deliver all virtual event experiences such as a conference, AGM, product launch, exhibition, awards, fashion show, seminar, reception or dinner, and more.

OTHER MEETING SPACES – Not just any boardroom

A truly flexible events offering, The Londoner can also provide options for intimate events formats, amongst its guest rooms and suites, The Green Room and The Gallery and its seven meeting rooms.

For smaller events, The Green Room is a beautiful space for receptions and gatherings. Fashioned for enjoyment and with the allure of an exclusive nightclub, the 3,214 square-foot space offers a timeless and wondrous London party venue for 150 people standing.

Furthermore, The Gallery and its seven rooms are ideal spaces for business meetings. Offering the opportunity to view works from some of today’s most exciting artists through partnerships with local galleries, the rooms are linked to a spacious foyer, with the ability to be customised and configured to suit various needs.

Delegates can also simply text EDWARD, Edwardian Hotels London’s AI chatbot, for any support needs – from ordering refreshments and adjusting running orders, to requesting assistance with AV equipment. Built-in assisted machine learning using Natural Language Understanding (NLU) means more than 1,600 requests can be responded to in different languages.

The hotel has a seven-day menu selection for its meetings and events delegates, as part of a significant investment across Edwardian Hotels London’s wider MICE offering.

WEDDINGS – Curating the wedding agenda for 2021

As the UK continues to adapt regulations in response to the potential of changing circumstances, the hotel is offering a number of different wedding formats for when it opens its doors. From micro weddings, sequel weddings to large gatherings, the hotel is equipped to cater to events requiring entertainment from live bands, concert performances amongst others.

The Ballroom is an ideal choice for sequel weddings, a larger-scale second celebration for weddings that have been postponed, and is given a whole new meaning at The Londoner. More intimate wedding formats are also available in the seven private dining rooms, able to host from two to 50 guests, while some of the signature suites, all with bespoke London views of their own, offer the perfect setting for small ceremonies and receptions.

The very essence of forward-thinking technology is woven into the design fabric to match all modern-day wedding requirements and event aspirations and whatever the wedding day appetite, the icing on the cake of The Londoner’s wedding programme is its culinary leaders. Couples can anticipate nothing less than extraordinary custom-designed cocktails and menus, to specialty wedding cakes – no detail will be left to chance. A true rarity is the two dedicated kitchens equipped to service the Ballroom and able to serve hot food, unlike most hotels in the city, with bespoke dining menu dishes composed by The Londoner’s Executive Chefs.

Licensed for civil weddings and partnership ceremonies, a dedicated in-house events management team seamlessly manages and considers every detail, from the quality of the cuisine to the finer points of hospitality and personal touches, to ensure every occasion at The Londoner is truly memorable.
