Kandima Maldives is a runner-up in the prestigious Luxury Lifestyle Magazine Readers’ Travel Awards 2019.
The resort beat off stiff competition from scores of hotels from across the globe to claim third place in The Best Hotel In Asia category.
Kandima Maldives is the Maldives’ only lifestyle resort. It’s modern, playful and offers something for everyone. Set on a 3km long island, Kandima Maldives has 10 restaurants and bars, a luxurious spa and its own art studio with lessons given by local artists.
The awards, run by Luxury Lifestyle Magazine in partnership with Blue Bay Travel, saw thousands of readers deliberating over some of the industry’s most astonishing travel destinations and show-stopping hotels, across a variety of categories.
Designed to reward the travel industry elite for excellence in a number of categories, nominees were narrowed down by an expert panel of judges before readers picked their favourite.
Luxury Lifestyle Magazine editor-in-chief, Nick Gibbens, says it was a close call, with Kandima Maldives only narrowly missing out.
