LUXURY CAMBRIDGE HOTEL UNVEILS ROOFTOP EVENT SPACE FOR HIRE

Luxury boutique hotel, The Varsity Hotel & Spa (www.thevarsityhotel.co.uk) in Cambridge has opened its Garden Terrace for corporate and private hire. The space is a new alfresco rooftop dining spot located at the hotel’s panoramic bar and brasserie, SIX (www.sixcambridge.co.uk).

With breath taking views of the Cambridge skyline, the insta-worthy terrace, which has been decked out with wooden floor panelling, wicker chairs and a cascade of flowers draping from the fully retractable roof, provides the perfect setting for drink and canape receptions, as well as more intimate business dinners.

Visited by A-list celebrities including Bill Nighy and Ralph Fiennes, The Varsity has also hosted world business leaders such as Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP, and Shane Robinson, the Vice President of Hewlett Packard.

Able to accommodate up to 30 for conference or dining table seating and up to 50 standing, the Garden Terrace is a luxurious setting for meetings, presentations, breakfast meetings, luncheons, business dinners and private functions.

The hotel has a dedicated events team that works closely with corporate bookers to tailor their requirements and ensure that all their needs are met, providing different food and drink options from SIX.

The Trinity Room and The River Bar Steakhouse & Grill (www.riverbarsteakhouse.com, both housed at the hotel are also great options for private event spaces, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner meetings.
