JURYS INN APPOINTS ANDREW SHAW AS NEW HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT

Jurys Inn, the leading UK and Irish hotel group, is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Shaw as its new Head of Development for the Group.

Andrew joins Jurys Inn with  approaching 30 years of hotel consultancy, brokerage and development experience. He joins Jurys Inn from IHG where he  led  the UK and Ireland development team and was tasked with growing further the region’s portfolio of over 320 hotels  across all the group’s brands.

Prior to this, Andrew held the position of Vice President of Development in the UK and Ireland at Accor Hotels, having been with the business for eight years, where he was responsible for defining and delivering Accor’s hotel development plan – with a focus on leases, franchise agreements and management contracts. Here, he led the growth of the business from 96 hotels to over 200 through a combination of portfolio and individual hotel transactions involving direct investment in assets (acquisition and lease) and latterly through franchise and management agreements.
