The opulent hotel will be celebrating Valentine’s Day for the first time as Royal Lancaster London. The mid-century hotel on the boundary of Hyde Park recently completed its extensive £80 million renovations, which have transformed the hotel into a luxurious icon of modern elegance in London.
In honour of the occasion Royal Lancaster London has created an array of fanciful feasts to guarantee a truly glamorous and regal Valentines.
Royal Valentine’s Afternoon Tea at Royal Lancaster London
The hotel’s much-loved Signature Royal Afternoon Tea will undergo an exclusive Valentines makeover.
The afternoon tea offers an array of sweet and savoury delights including Wild mushroom and truffle Arancini tarts, sesame seeded choux buns filled with blushing tomato and fragrant basil and a selection of sandwiches. The afternoon tea also includes sweet dishes such as Rosewater and white chocolate macarons, Raspberry ripple marshmallow tarts, Strawberries and cream Viennese swirls, and Amaretto lollipops. Afternoon Tea will be served complete with plain, sultana and strawberry scones and homemade jam and Cornish clotted cream.
The Royal Valentine’s Afternoon Tea will be available from 7-20 February 2018, from £35 per person, or £50 per person including a glass of Moët & Chandon Rose Champagne.
Island Grill
Island Grill will be offering an indulgent Valentine’s three-course menu. The menu will feature delectable dishes including Crispy Gressingham duck salad, Pan-fried sea bass, Roasted fig, pine nut and cherry-wood smoked cheese tart, Dark chocolate fondant and Strawberry panna cotta. The award-winning Island Grill is perfect for a super-chic dining experience with its dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows offering idyllic views across Hyde Park.
The set menu will be available from 7-20 February 2017 priced at £47.50 per person including a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne or £53.50 per person including a glass of Moët & Chandon Rose Champagne.
Hyde Lobby Bar
Set within acres of white marble, the hotel’s brand new Hyde Lobby Bar is the prime spot to “see and be seen” in London, and the perfect location for an elegant pre-dinner tipple. Designed with the most discerning guests in mind, Champagne, cocktails, and coffee are served throughout the day.
