“CLC WORLD CHARITY HOLIDAYS” LAUNCHES WITH 333 FREE WEEKS HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

CLC World Resorts & Hotels, Europe’s largest independent resort operator and developer, today announces the launch of its Charity Holidays programme. The initiative will see the company donate 333 weeks of free accommodation to a host of selected charities and their service users in 2017, its 33rd year of operation.

All CLC World resorts in Austria, Spain (the Costa del Sol and Tenerife), Turkey (the Aegean Coast), USA (Orlando) and the UK are participating in the scheme.

As part of the programme the company will be working with a number of charities to offer their beneficiaries, partners and families the opportunity to enjoy a week’s free accommodation and make the most of the extensive facilities available.
To date CLC World Resorts & Hotels has worked with a number of charities including the Cystic Fibrosis Holiday Fund, Carers Trust and Help for Heroes. It will be expanding its charity benefactors as part of CLC World Charity Holidays in 2017 and beyond.

Graham Wilding, UK operations director, CLC World Resorts & Hotels, said:
“CLC World has a long history of supporting well-deserving charities and we are excited to be launching a programme that we know will make a lasting difference. Many of us take going on holiday for granted but this can be a challenge, particularly for those who need to provide care for a loved one. CLC World Charity Holidays has been designed to help change this and turn going on holiday into a reality for those who need it most. We look forward to increasing the number of charities we work with over the coming year to extend our programme reach.”

CLC World Charity Holidays is particularly focused on working with those charities that offer support to the UK’s carers – those who volunteer to support friends, families and their local communities who often don’t have the opportunity to care for themselves.
